the Queen is back!

She's back! With such a nice song now. And the dance too! But somehow I feel that the dance don't really match the song? Looking at both aspects separately though, the song is awesome and the dance is wonderful. But anyway, Boa's back and I can't wait for her live performance.

5 more weeks!

Finally we got to the process of buying our air tickets. There were still a bit of problems, especially for me since I'm flying to so many places. But I hope I'm able to purchase the multi-destination tickets! Then it will be done with the air tickets and on to the housing!

So exciting right haha. I can't wait to leave this country. Like really.

Oh right. And I witnessed a fight on the bus today. It's really ridiculous. One of the guys just sat down on the seat and at the next stop, suddenly two aunties rushed from the back to the middle of the bus without getting down. I thought what happened sia, then I looked behind and saw these two men caught in a fight. Like seriously? Why did they even have to fight? So weird. Oh wells, but these incidents have been occurring way too frequently.

Where has all the considerate people gone to? Sigh...

Birthdays and more birthdays!

So finally, I pulled myself to write this post. Let's start from Sunday 1st July.

Met up with Yenngee, Jingyu and Sheena for a lunch date at Amici at Holland Village. It was a very belated birthday celebration for yen. Partly because all of our schedules clash and we had to cope with school. So quite long ago sheena told me to buy this groupon for amici saying that the food there not bad. So we bought and here we are at amici! we ordered soup and shared two main courses because the portions were quite big. 

 Mushroom soup that me and yen ordered! It was not bad, but a little too much ingredients? Like not very soupy. I feel like I was eating oatmeal that is mushroom flavoured. Haha.

 Pasta with smoked salmon. Love it. The cream sauce is not that kind that you eat a bit you will get sick of it already. Very appetising!

 Pizza with three kinds of sausages. Sadly one of the meat is beef. >< But it's not bad too! It is thin crusted so it is very crunchy.

 I haven't seen yen for so long. Haha. She's like the busiest, so of course, a group photo for memories! After lunch, we went to sing ktv at some place I don't know where. But I still prefer teoheng hahaha. :D

On Monday night, my dad brought me to get my birthday present! Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 together with its accessories. :)

Pretty isn't it! Love it to bits. Haha. I'm a total android convert now. Other than my ipod which is 4 years old, my phone and now this is android OS. :)

Wednesday was my 21st Birthday, and I met up with Regina for lunch. We wanted to go Keppel Bay, but it kept raining, so we decided that it was better to stay indoors, and went to town instead. Ate at Coca Restaurant. Steamboat buffet. We ordered so much in two rounds haha. But so satisfying! After that, I got tempted by Regina to get Olympus EPL-3. Sigh, money gone. I will take it as a birthday present for myself! Would have gotten EP-3, but it's too expensive. It's not much of a difference anyway I feel, except for the touch screen on EP-3 but it doesn't matter to me. So EPL-3 I bought! the white one. So pretty. Super broke now though, shall go on a SAVE MONEY SCHEME. haha.

Honestly I have always wanted an Olympus Pen but I always thought it was too expensive so I didn't get it. This time I was convinced to get it because it gave so much free stuff it was really a good deal. :) Shall make full use of it when I go to Korea and Taiwan!

Met Sheena for dinner after that! Kind of. I was so late because I was purchasing the camera. SORRY SHEENA! went to swenson's for dinner and got treated by her! :D THANKS. I ordered apple crumble.

The apple bits are really sweet. Which is good for me. I love this kind of sweet stuff haha. Thanks for the treat again!

AND that's what happened for the past few days!!

Oh right. Regina and I started our discussions for the Korea trip. Damn exciting haha. Just thought of it makes me high. We are gonna go Jeju, and of course explore around in Seoul! Need to buy tickets soon! So that I can apply for my visa and stuff. :D Can't Wait!!!!

Exploring Singapore

So yesterday, I went to Marina Barrage for a briefing for my job. Literally walked everywhere, the rooftop, the gallery and the play area below. Although it's not my first time there, still quite eye-opening. So after the briefing, jiahan, two of his friends, shiqi and I decided to go and explore....

Yup. Gardens by the Bay, a newly opened tourist attraction, I would say, in Singapore. I think the most eye-catching thing in this garden when you first entered it or even from outside would be...

 This structure. Very tall. VERY VERY TALL. There are many of these structures everywhere around the garden, but each area, the plants on the structures are different. When I just entered, I thought the place was quite small, until we walked to the conservatories area to look at the map then we realised the place is really big. There are mainly three attractions that require and admission fee. Two of them are indoor conservatories, and one is the OCBC skywalk. (shown below)

The admission fee to the conservatories were quite expensive. We wanted to go up onto the skywalk since it cost only $5, but because this place just opened, the queue was very long. The staff limits the number of people up on the skywalk at one time because besides the two ends of the bridge, there's no support in the middle. So I guess there is a certain weight limit. 

So in the end we just walked around. And jiahan and his friends just started to try to identify the plants in the garden. Haha.

The place is really pretty. Haha. I think one day I will come back and explore the place thoroughly when my feet aren't aching. And take pretty pictures and stuff. I want to come here at night too! Because apparently there is a lights show at the skywalk at night. So interesting.

So, after exploring Gardens by the Bay, I headed back to Jcube to meet my family for dinner. We ate at Canton Paradise! No pictures because I was too busy eating. 

I ordered the hargao, siewmai, xiaolongbao, LIUSHABAO!!! 鲜虾肠粉，酸辣汤，then main course was congee for my mum, i ate zhajiangmian, my dad ate the signature prawn dumpling soup noodles, and my brother ate roasted pork belly noodles. The main courses were okay.. not much to talk about. The dimsum.. hargao and siewmai were normal. I felt that the xiaolongbao wasn't very nice though. There isn't a lot of the soup inside the dumpling. Liushabao was nice.. :D the 鲜虾肠粉 the prawn is really fresh. and I love the 酸辣汤 alot. it's like sour enough to increase your appetite and spicy enough. Haha. 

Hatched~

Met Elizabeth and YeeChing for lunch today. We went Hatched to try out the food there. Now I can strike it off my "Want To Try" list. Well, I must say the food is not bad.. But the price is a bit on the high side. So overall not very worthed the money. No pictures, because I was too busy catching up with them since I haven't seen them for quite long, especially Yeeching. :D

After that we went to starbucks to contine chatting... and for yeeching to satisfy her cheesecake craving. She was saying how in UK she could find cheesecake of so many flavours, all except the plain one. Haha.

And I got my first birthday present of the year! Thanks girls! Now I can use this pouch when I go overseas. And it's so cute! :D

On a side note, I really can't wait to fly off. But module mapping is so frustrating. I'm going to finish all 10 slots of the module mapping but still, I can't map the ideal number of modules that I want to take. :(

Ohmygosh. I think I need to put a disclaimer here. Please stop asking me to celebrate my birthday with another person! Usually I don't mind. But this is my 21st birthday. Can it be like solely for me? At least something special. Otherwise just don't celebrate for me I don't mind. zzz.

S.H.E They are back!!

They are back! In the many years of me listening to Mandopop this is one of the groups that I truly think have the talent and ability to be top stars in the music arena. They don't just rely on their looks to be idols. Their singing is really good, even the harmonization is live and perfect. How many groups actually does their harmonization live? In this performance you can really hear their harmonizing, especially for Superstar. Every chord just fits together nicely.

Another group that I feel is like Shinhwa, that went through so many obstacles but still stayed together, even after they did solo activities. Because of an accident, they had to stop their group activities, but still supported each other. Now they came back stronger. Yea! 

The best girl group in Mandopop ever -- S.H.E
